LIVE Interview with the Authors of the Defyne Purpose Series...

OBM in conjunction with BUSS-Radio will be interviewing Authoress Defyne and Portia Pleasant on their upcoming book release The Defyne Purpose Series.

This upcoming new release is a series of short stories that deal with tough issues such as homosexuality and listening to your children. The stories are aimed at both children and their parents and is designed as a tool for either child, parent, or both to get the conversation started on these topics. The goal of the series is to keep the lines of communication open between parents and their children to ensure that the correct values are passed from parent to child -- something very necessary in today's society.

The authors are also putting together a workshop which will facilitate the use of the Series. Through dialogue, creativity, and journaling, Authoress Defyne and Ms. Pleasant hope to get kids and parents talking to each other...

Tune in to BUSS-Radio on Sunday, October 14, 2012, starting at 2:00 p.m. and listen to the LIVE interview. You can also watch LIVE streaming video of the event on Triple S TV. The phone lines will be open -- 443.380.3555 -- and available for you to call in and talk with the authors LIVE on the air. We will also have our chat room open so you can log on and chat with other listeners, K.A.O.T.I.K. Thought (the producer) and have your questions and comments relayed to Authoress Defyne and Ms. Pleasant in real-time.

Triple S: Sultry Soul Sessions

In the development stages...

Triple S is a salute to our female indie R&B and Neo-Soul artists. It will feature those indie artists who have songs and/or album(s) released or in the release stages. Simply submit your fully mastered song(s) and it will be put into rotation on the air on OBM-Radio. Our listeners are invited to call in and give the artist their constructive criticism. Whether the track is your style or not, we ask you to be respectful in critiquing the artists. It takes a lot of courage to put yourself and your talents out there. Let's be supportive of these individuals so they can continue to develop in their craft and bring sultry sophisticated sounds out of the basement.

We will also feature the artists live on-air, interviewing them for their viewpoint on their music. Knowing a little about the artist and why she has chosen a particular sound or has written her lyrics in that manner can help us better understand the song. The artist will have the opportunity to give us her feedback on why a particular track has been composed. Thirty minute Artist Rap Sessions will be a regular segment of Triple S.

As we are all well aware of copyright laws, all music submitted for air-play must be the submitter's original composition. No copyrighted music -- whether full tracks or sampling -- will be played on-air. This protects the original composer's copyright and respects their rights. This show is to feature your music -- your sounds, your lyrics, your style... Let us shed some light on your underground sounds.

If you are interested in submitting your music, please e-mail us today. Your submission should include your fully mastered track(s), their name(s), your full name and full contact information including e-mail address, and the release date of your song/album. This show is in the final planning stages and will launch on OBM-Radio soon. Why not ensure your time in the spotlight by submitting your tracks now? We look forward to sharing your beautiful vocals, lyrics, and rhythms on-air.
